Ministry
Opportunities
Bus /
Van Ministry
Each week, we
provide door-to-door transportation to children, teens and
adults that would not otherwise be able to come
to church. Our workers are experienced and safe. If
you would like a free ride, please call the church at (606)
929-5808.
Children's Ministries
God
loves children, and we believe that children are an
important part of church. At Crossroads, there is something
for everyone!
· Nursery
During every service, we provide a clean and safe
environment with loving workers so that you can have peace
of mind
while enjoying one of our
services. Nursery is provided for newborns through 3
years of age.
· Sunday School
Every Sunday morning, it is amazing what your child will
learn. They will come home singing new songs, quoting
verses,
displaying their crafts
and sharing with you the important truths that they are
learning from the Bible. The teachers and
workers are dedicated,
compassionate, and excited to be a small part of the life of
your child.
· Sunday
Night Tykes
During our Sunday evening service, children
that are K4 - 6th grade can enjoy a
fun-filled hour filled with exciting Bible
stories and songs,
puppets, games, and yummy snacks that will
leave them wanting more.

Media
Ministry
Each service
is recorded and posted online so that those who missed the
service can make sure they stay connected.
Worldwide Missions
We currently
support 15 Missionaries here at home and around the world.
We support them both financially and with prayer.
We receive regular correspondence about their respective
fields and look forward to hearing first hand of how God is
blessing
when they are able to come home and visit their supporting
churches. For a complete list of those we support,

Music
Ministry
We believe
that music plays a vital role in every church service by
preparing the heart for the preaching of the Word of God.
For this reason, we sing Christ-honoring psalms, hymns and
spiritual songs. Each week, you are guaranteed to be
encouraged by the song service.

Outreach Ministry
We want to be faithful to
the Great Commission! Each week, members of our church are
actively involved in reaching
our community with the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ. Our scheduled times are:
Jail /
Prison Ministry
Each
month, we have the privilege to preach "deliverance" to the
captives. We preach several times a year at the Federal
Correctional Institution here in Ashland, and twice a month
at the Boyd County Jail (every 1st
and 3rd Saturday at 6:00 pm
unless otherwise noted on the calendar.)

Sign
Ministry
God promised
that His Word would not return void! Since faith
coming by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, we place
Scripture signs in the yards of believers that would like
one. Once a month, the Scripture is rotated so that
each passer-by
can get another dose of God’s precious Word. If you
would like a Scripture sign in your yard, please contact us.
Bible
Institute
We believe, and are dedicated to the
principle that it is the responsibility
of the local church to equip God's
saints for the work of the ministry.
Crossroads Baptist Bible Institute
offers Biblical study and instruction
for those preparing to enter the
ministry, or those who simply want to
further their Bible knowledge for the
purpose of serving the Lord in a greater
way. The Bible Institute is open
to members of Crossroads Baptist Church,
and is tuition free.

Nursing Home Ministry
We love senior saints! Many of our
dear brothers and sisters in Christ are
residents in our local nursing homes,
and are physically unable to attend
church services. That is why we
bring church to them. We sing the
old hymns, preach the Word, fellowship,
and visit the residents, inviting those
who need salvation to the Saviour.
We currently hold services at Boyd
Nursing and Rehab, with plans to expand
to other facilities in the future…
Public
Ministry
Many people today have forgotten about
God. For this reason, we take the
message of the Gospel out on the streets
of our town at least once a month.
We hold Scripture signs and banners,
pass out tracts, and even do a little
bit of open-air preaching.
