OUR MINISTRIES
|
BUS MINISTRY – In an effort to follow the
command of our Lord and Saviour to reach the
lost we still believe in and use buses as a tool
to ‘bring them in’. SUNDAY MORNING CHILDREN’S CHURCH – Our staff conducts a popular children's church during the morning worship service, for 4-12 year-olds. The children enjoy learning about God through Bible reading, singing and crafts. Character-building lessons are emphasized as we aim to help children learn the importance of obedience to parents, honesty, helping at home, etc. WEDNESDAY NIGHT CHILDREN'S CHURCH - We have a short discussion on missionaries and their fields, followed by a Bible lesson, and then it's "crazy time!" where the kids play lively games and learn teamwork. A very popular class! MENS/LADIES FELLOWSHIPS – Being true Baptists we take every opportunity to fellowship together as brothers and sisters in Christ. MUSIC MINISTRY – In an effort to remain true to the Lord Jesus in our music we play only traditional, God-honoring music in our services. NURSERY – Our well-equipped nursery exists for newborns to 3-year-olds and is staffed by caring ladies who exhibit love and kindness to the little ones in their care. SUNDAY SCHOOL – While still small, we offer classes for all ages. We find no greater joy than to watch the faces of young boys and girls - as well as not quite so young boys and girls - light up as they learn the unsearchable truths of God’s Word. TEEN MINISTRIES – We LOVE teens in our church family, and respond to their varied needs, including love, acceptance, direction and counsel from a Biblical aspect. Our teens enjoy camps, conferences, cook-outs and other activities while the main emphasis is always JESUS and His will for their lives. WORLDWIDE MISSIONS – We take this responsibility very serious and make a strong effort to ensure God's glorious Word is shared locally, through personal soul-winning, and remotely, through supporting missionaries stateside and worldwide. NURSING HOME – Currently we do not have this ministry but feel it is very important to reach out to the elderly. Hopefully and prayfully we can start this soon. |
